Well, I grew up in an entrepreneurial household. My father owned several businesses when I was growing up. My first job right out of college was working for an entrepreneur. I just really like the excitement and adventure of starting a business. After running businesses myself, pretty successfully for a while, I felt I was prepared to do this and also I’ve always been attracted to helping people in their businesses. When this opportunity came along [to be a FSBDC consultant], it was perfect for where I was in the stage of my life.
