The Florida SBDC Network, the state’s principal provider of small business assistance, will host a special Florida SBDC Day at the Capitol event on Tuesday, January 9 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You’re invited to learn more about the Florida SBDC, the assistance we provide to thousands of existing and aspiring small businesses statewide, and the impact we contribute to Florida's economy. Staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide tours of our Mobile Assistance Center, which was recently deployed as part of our recovery efforts to help small businesses impacted by Hurricane Irma.

For over forty years, the Florida SBDC Network, the state’s principal provider of business assistance [Fl. Stat. 288.001], has nourished a statewide partnership between higher education and economic development to provide existing and emerging small and medium-sized business owners with management and knowledge resources that enable overall growth, increased profitability, and economic prosperity for Florida’s economy.
