We are looking for breakout session speakers to share their expertise and align with our tracks and themes for each event.
2024 Small Business Success Summit
The 2024 Small Business Success Summit theme is Elevate, Envision & Expand. We want to ensure attendees gain resources to help them elevate their business, envision their possibilities, and be able to expand to continue to ensure Florida remains the top state for small businesses and entrepreneurs in the country. Our key areas of focus for breakout sessions during this event include: access to capital, business operations, business growth, government contracting, technology, marketing.
Florida SBDC Annual Conference | Our Strategic Pillars
Our internal annual conference content and breakout sessions will be centered around our 6 core pillars. Each pillar represents an area our network’s KPIs are centered around and areas we feel we must focus on to best serve Florida’s small businesses.
Things to Note:
- If selected, all speakers will receive a complimentary registration to the event they are chosen to speak at.
- Speakers fees are not provided.
- If selected to present, speakers will be responsible for covering the cost for logistics (travel, accommodation, etc.).
- Each session can have a maximum of four speakers at a time. If a panel, our preferred format is one moderator and three panelists.
- Presentations will be chosen based on the proposed idea and speakers suggested. Changes in subject or speakers must be approved in writing by the Florida SBDC Network and may lead to the cancellation of the session.
- If selected, speakers will be required to attend a mandatory pre-conference meeting and will also be required to arrive on site no later than 30 minutes before their scheduled time slot.
- Once offers are accepted, and speaker and session content have been confirmed, we will add the session to the event agenda. We may list the speaker as a confirmed speaker on the speaker page in advance of finalizing the speaker details.
