Celebrate National SBDC Day on Wednesday, March 18!

On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, the Florida SBDC Network will celebrate the 10th annual, national SBDC Day, and you’re invited to join in the celebration.

What is SBDC Day?

SBDC Day is a national, collective celebration of the success and impact that America’s Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) foster each year. SBDCs provide consulting, training, and resources to aspiring and existing small businesses. Whether you have an idea and are just starting out or you’re an existing business looking to grow, SBDCs have the right tools and specialized expertise to help you achieve success.

SBDC Day will unite the nearly 1,000 SBDC centers across the country and the hundreds of thousands of clients they serve each year by sharing, in real-time, the success stories and notable impacts SBDCs collectively have on the small business community at large.

What is the Florida SBDC Network?

The Florida SBDC Network serves as the state’s principal provider of small business assistance. Celebrating our 50th anniversary this year, the Florida SBDC has been serving small businesses as one of the first SBDCs in the nation since 1976! Hosted statewide at the University of West Florida, the Florida SBDC Network has more than 40 offices from Pensacola to Key West to assist small business owners across the entire state.

The network offers no-cost, specialized consulting in areas including access to capital, business planning, financial analysis, international trade, marketing, government contracting, and more. The Florida SBDC Network also offers hundreds of workshops and trainings each year, ranging from basic skills to advanced business management. Why Should You Celebrate?

With more than 3.5 million small businesses making up over 99% of all businesses in Florida, their success is vital to our communities. These businesses provide jobs, support communities, and drive economic growth.

The Florida SBDC Network is honored to serve as a catalyst for small business success, providing the expert guidance needed to help small businesses launch and scale across the state. By offering our consulting services at no cost, we help entrepreneurs move from vision to reality.

SBDC Day is a celebration of the team members,  clients, and partners who make our work possible. If you’ve had a great experience with the Florida SBDC Network — whether you’ve started a business, expanded operations, secured capital, or navigated a challenge — we invite you to share your story. Your voice helps demonstrate the real impact of our services and inspires other entrepreneurs to take the next step.

How Do I Join the Celebration?

We’re calling all of our clients, staff and partners to help us celebrate! Participating is easy:

  • Join the conversation. Tag us on Facebook, X, and Instagram and use the #SBDCDay hashtag to share how the Florida SBDC Network has made a difference for your business and community.
  • Share your story. Comment and share our “Share Your Story” post on social media. Tell us how the Florida SBDC has made a difference in your small business journey.
  • Reconnect with us. If you haven’t seen us in a while or are interested in becoming a client, contact your local Florida SBDC and schedule a no-cost consulting appointment with us!
