Garden of Esther – A Culinary Success

What started out as a hobby turned into a profitable and thriving business for Vero Beach resident, Esther Chin. Using her green thumb and love for fresh vegetables, Esther took to gardening in her free time which lead to an abundance of fresh herbs and spices giving Esther the opportunity to get creative in her kitchen. As all great chefs will tell you, experimenting in the kitchen leads to greatness and in Esther’s case, homemade pasta blended with fresh herb for an Instagram worthy dinner to be proud of. Esther took to social media proud of her creations and met a welcomed and enthusiastic audience craving her unique and authentic cuisine. Her naturally-flavored pastas were a hit and her followers wanted more, thus, Garden of Esther was born!

Esther has been creating high-quality small batch premium pastas since 2018, providing the Indian River area with fresh farm-to-table pastas, sauces and other signature items. Now, a thriving brick-and-mortar location with a loyal social media presence, Garden of Esther enlists the help of her local Small Business Development Center to help her navigate the business side of her store, “The SBDC has been wonderful help, I have been working with Frank Fink for the last year to strengthen my business plan and create projections for my business. I’ve also worked with Leanna Haag on marketing strategies and a solid marketing plan. We will continue using the SBDC as we grow!” – Esther Chin on her time spent with FSBDC Vero Beach Consultant, Frank Fink and Digital Media Specialist, Leanna Haag.
