Florida-Based Entrepreneurial Assets Invited to Complete Survey
Florida SBDC Network State Office (Pensacola, Fla.) – The Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, the state’s principal provider of small business assistance, has launched a new survey to gain a better understanding of the state’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The purpose of the survey is to identify existing entrepreneurial assets statewide.
The survey marks phase one of a new initiative of the network - the Florida Entrepreneurial Nexus. This first phase of the Nexus, a catalog of entrepreneurial assets and service providers, is to help bolster the success and impact of the state’s small businesses by threading the needle between the state’s existing entrepreneurial assets and service providers.
“We are excited to launch the first phase of the Florida Entrepreneurial Nexus initiative to help us better understand the state’s entrepreneurial ecosystem," said Greg Britton, Florida SBDC Network State Director. “Through this survey and Nexus, we can build a stronger network and better support the growth and success of our state’s small business owners. ”
The network invites Florida-based entrepreneurial assets to complete the survey.
An entrepreneurial asset is an entity, such as a business incubator or accelerator, that provides resources and support for businesses in any phase of business, but especially ideation, startup, and growth. Entrepreneurial assets include innovation partners, economic and business development organizations; business consulting and mentorship providers, and financial and funding partners.
