Jessica Wolford wanted to create something special in the City of Pensacola, something that would bring people together to celebrate and enjoy something we all love, our pets. Though there are many dog-friendly establishments in Pensacola, owner Jessica Wolford felt like there was something missing. Thus, WolfGang LLC was born: a place where you can celebrate your dogs.
WolfGang focuses on events hosted with local partners that are also dog-friendly. Events not only for the dogs, but the humans as well, allowing dogs to be able to participate in activities and have fun with their humans. WolfGang prides itself on bringing together vendors, treat makers, and other local small businesses.
“What [The Florida SBDC at UWF] have been able to provide WolfGang is invaluable,” said Wolford. “I am a perfect example of someone who does not know a lot about business and they were able to help me with that. They didn’t care if I had 100 questions in an email, they didn’t mind if I sent five emails in a day; they responded every single time. They were there to educate and help and I have learned a lot.”
The future is looking bright for WolfGang, with big plans for the future. Wolford commented, “We have a dream of opening an off-leash dog park and bar. So for now, we are learning how we can get our name out there and start establishing a trusted brand.“
