Florida SBDC Network Announces Registration, Call for Presentations for 2024 Small Business Success Summit

Florida SBDC Network State Office (Pensacola, Fla.) – The Florida SBDC Network, the state’s principal provider of business assistance, has opened registration for the 2024 Small Business Success Summit, which will be held August 19-20 at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach. 

The Small Business Success Summit will bring small business owners, experienced Florida SBDC Network consultants, and knowledgeable experts together to share valuable information to help business owners take their business to the next level. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from keynote speakers, network with other small business professionals and resource providers, and learn key strategies to help their business launch, grow and thrive. 

“We are thrilled to bring the third annual Small Business Success Summit to the Jacksonville area this year,” said Greg Britton, state director of the Florida SBDC Network. “The Summit provides an excellent opportunity for small business owners to invest in themselves, connect with resources, and find valuable connections that can help them grow and expand their business.”

Event registration is $250, with a discounted early bird rate of $225 available until July 19. 

The Florida SBDC Network  launched a call for presentations to solicit speakers for the event. Key areas of focus for breakout sessions during the event include: access to capital, business operations, business growth, government contracting, technology, and marketing. Last year's Summit, which was held at the Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, drew more than 300 attendees and featured over 20 engaging breakout sessions. The conference featured keynote presentations by Kristen Hadeed, leadership expert and author, and Jordan Crenshaw, senior vice president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Technology Engagement Center. Special addresses were provided by Farooq Mitha, director of the U.S. Department of Defense Office of Small Business Programs and Secretary Alex Kelly of the Florida Department of Commerce.
